With the passing of each day, Spring draws closer and closer! We are now in the process of finishing the last of our terrace digging for our newly planted Syrah and Sangiovese vines. The nearly complete hand-dug terraces will make for a total of about 4 miles of terracing all dug by man using only shovels. The Syrah and Sangiovese complete our South terrace nestled below our Cabernet Franc on the steep Southern exposure.
